Prime Minister Narendra Modi says he has done 'abhutpurva kam" which means phenomenal work, in the first 100 days of his second tenure in a rally in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday.
Modi visited the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Veterinary Science University and Cattle Research Institute in Mathura to launch the National Animal Disease Control Programme. He asserted that rural India plays a big role in economy and cow is a common sight in every village however if he says cow or Om many people get alarmed which is not right. He gives an example of Rwanda in Africa, how Government providing cows to every household through an organized way and playing great role to boost the economy through cow products and can be implemented if feasible, waiting for blueprints.
Opposition CPI general secretary D. Raja asked why PM is not talking about the downtrodding economy and how to uplift it instead of "cow" and "Om".
