It was a dramatic rescue again. One more saved from death on tracks at Ahmedabad railway station. For the second time in three days, a train passenger had a narrow escape while attempting to board a moving train again at platform number 10 of the Ahmedabad railway station. The passenger was to travel to Delhi in the Rajdhani Express. At 5.35pm on Wednesday, RPF constable Deepak Yadav was on duty when he saw two passengers rush towards a moving train. One of them threw his bag into the coach and boarded, but the other was not so lucky. The second passenger, later identified as one Jeet Kumar, said his leg slipped and got wedged between the train and the platform. Yadav and others on the platform quickly pulled him to safety. Kumar was dragged by the train for about 100 feet, before he was pulled to safety. Fernandez said that the train was stopped and Kumar, who had suffered minor bruises, later boarded it.
